Installation Guide
Installing Your ParkGuard
Takes 5 minutes. No experience needed.
If you can hang a picture on the wall, you can install ParkGuard. The whole process is just drilling 4 holes and tightening 4 bolts. Most people are done in the time it takes to drink a coffee.
What you'll need
Everything important comes in the box — anchor bolts, Allen key, remote, and detailed instructions. The only thing you need to grab from your garage is:
- A drill with a masonry bit (the kind for drilling into concrete)
- A hammer
That's it. No electrician, no wiring, no special skills.
The 5 steps
-
Pick your spot
Place ParkGuard where you want it — usually centered in your parking space. When it's lowered flat, your car drives right over it.
-
Mark and drill
Mark the 4 bolt holes through the base of the unit. Move it aside and drill straight down. The included anchors show you the exact depth.
-
Tap in the anchors
Drop the expansion anchors into the holes and give each one a quick tap with a hammer until it sits flush.
-
Bolt it down
Set ParkGuard back over the holes, drop in the bolts, and tighten with the included Allen key. Done in under a minute.
-
Pop in the batteries and pair the remote
Slide in the 3 D batteries (included), press and hold the pair button on the unit, then press any button on the remote. You'll hear a beep — that means you're paired and ready to go.
Test it
Press the remote button once. Watch ParkGuard fold down flat. Press it again — it stands back up. That satisfying click is the sound of your spot being yours forever.
