Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about ParkGuard - installation, range, weather, shipping, and returns.
- How long does installation take?
- About 5 minutes. Bolt ParkGuard to any concrete or asphalt surface using the included mounting hardware. No wiring, no tools beyond a basic drill, no professional needed.
- Does it work in heavy rain or snow?
- Yes. ParkGuard is IP67 rated - fully sealed against dust and protected against temporary water submersion. Rain, snow, humidity, and summer heat won't stop it.
- How far does the remote work?
- Up to 65 feet (20 meters). You can raise or lower the barrier from inside your car, from a window, or from across the street - one press is all it takes.
- What powers it? Do I need an electrician?
- ParkGuard runs on 3x standard D batteries - no wiring, no charging cables, no electrician. A set lasts for weeks of daily use, and a low-battery indicator warns you well before they run out.
- What happens if someone tries to force it down?
- The built-in alarm triggers immediately on forced movement, and the heavy-duty steel body holds vehicles up to 4,400 lbs. Between the noise and the steel, your spot stays yours.
- Will it damage my car if I forget to lower it?
- The barrier is highly visible by design, and lowering it takes one press of the remote from up to 65 feet away - most owners drop it before they even turn into the spot. When lowered, it folds flat so you can drive over it safely.
- How fast is shipping?
- Shipping is free on all orders across the USA. We ship from US-based warehouses, so it's fast: orders are packed and dispatched within 1-2 business days, and delivery takes 2-7 business days after that - most orders arrive within about a week. You'll get a tracking number by email the moment your order ships.
- What is your return policy?
- 30 days, no questions asked, backed by a money-back guarantee. If you're not completely satisfied, contact us and we'll arrange a full refund.
